PKB is proud to announce that the Balestra 1 site in Lugano has successfully completed the re-roofing and installation of a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system.
What does this mean?
- The system is now certified and has been operational since the end of August.
- It will generate clean energy that will significantly reduce energy costs.
It will reduce CO2 emissions by 6.45 tonnes per year, equivalent to the emissions of 250-300 petrol cars.
This project will cover more than 7 per cent of the building’s total consumption and more than 10 per cent if we only consider daytime consumption.
