The fourth edition of the PKB AddVenture Academy, an initiative born from the collaboration between PKB Private Bank and Match Strategies, has come to a close.
The event celebrated the training journey of the selected startups: Komete, Powsh, Sieve, and Talpa Inspection. TALPA – Inspection won this edition. The startup originated as an academic spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zürich), specializing in the maintenance and monitoring of critical infrastructures through the use of advanced robotic technologies. Powsh received a special mention from Match Strategies.
During the evening, Roberto Trotta, cosmologist, professor of theoretical physics, and science communicator, spoke about how humanity’s desire to predict the future throughout the ages has sparked innovative drive.
A future that, for the PKB AddVenture Academy, continues to be linked to the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ticino. As also emphasized by the Mayor of the City of Lugano, Michele Foletti, in his opening remarks, this initiative helps create long-term value by connecting talent and businesses with a territorial perspective.
This journey will continue in 2027 with the fifth edition of the PKB AddVenture Academy.
