“Antifragility” is not just a theoretical concept: it is the ability to continuously evolve, transforming complexity and change into new opportunities for growth.
As part of the PKB AddVenture Academy program, we were hosted by Casale, a historic entity in engineering and technologies for the Swiss chemical industry which, throughout its evolution, has been able to transform expertise, vision, and innovation into a model capable of evolving across different contexts, markets, and industrial challenges.
We had the opportunity to deepen our understanding of how an international company like Casale currently faces the challenges of industrial transformation, sustainability, and technological innovation, while keeping at its core a corporate culture based on experience, openness, and long-term vision.
It was particularly interesting to observe how even industrial companies with a long history can maintain typical elements of entrepreneurship and innovation: openness to change, adaptability, and the willingness to continuously evolve.
A central aspect of the PKB AddVenture Academy is precisely these moments: the “off-sites.” We bring startups—Komete, SIE-VE, Powsh, and Talpa Inspection—into established companies to foster real connections, direct dialogue, and concrete opportunities for growth and innovation.
