The third edition of the PKB AddVenture Academy, held at the LAC in Lugano, has successfully concluded.
This year’s award was given to Aura System, specialized in sustainable solutions for air purification, with innovative green walls that combine nature and science thanks to their patented substrate, Aura Mix. Team-Fence and Enhance-d ranked second and third respectively.
Aura System received a voucher to participate in an industry fair, while all start-ups were rewarded with LVGA, the payment token of the city of Lugano, to strengthen the connection with the local ecosystem.
The event was hosted by Alberto Celletti and Giorgia Pati, Match Strategies; among the participants, the Mayor of Lugano, Michele Foletti, emphasized the importance of a vibrant and attractive network of talents.
Moreover, a panel, moderated by Alessandro Trabaldo Togna, of Belvoir Capital, saw the participation of Emanuele Preve, CFO of Riso Gallo, and Luca Rancilio, CEO of Rancilio Cube SICAF, who delved into the link between innovation, start-ups, and investments, with a focus on family businesses in venture capital.
Looking to the future, this initiative will continue with the fourth edition in 2026, supporting start-ups with interest in Ticino and establishing itself as a reference point for those aspiring to innovate and make a significant impact.
